La Crema

Californian wine really had its defining moment in 1976 at the “Judgement of Paris”. Sure there were great wines before then, but it was on that day that the old world really took notice of what could be achieved in America.

La Crema was out on a limb at the start, trying to make Burgundian style Pinot Noir when all the American’s were famous for was big hearty reds like Cabernet Sauvignon. With the support of Kendall Jackson Wines that dream continues to this day, and are we glad that it does.
