Yangarra

Searching for the perfect vineyard to enter the Australian market, Jess Jackson & Barbara Banke visited Yangarra Estate in 2000, and purchased the vineyard a year later. Bringing Jackson Family Wines to Australia.

The Yangarra story goes back much further than that, the first Grenache plantings went in in 1946, and took to the sandy McLaren Vale soil.

The Jackson family appointed Peter Fraser and Michael Lane to revive this fantastic vineyard and its old vines.

The investment from the Jackson family has really paid off, Yangarra are delivering stunning quality wines at incredibly affordable prices. Look no further than the 2017 “Old Vine” Grenache (97 points – James Halliday), or 2017 Shiraz (97 points – James Halliday), all sub $30 through us.
